She works hard for the money

Do you see what happens when you have nothing to?  You actually find something to do.  You actually get stuff done instead of avoiding that inevitable 12-20 page essay by spending hours on Facebook playing Pack Rat (oh, so many hours-shameful!)

I stayed up very, very late to finish tweaking the template.  I’ve had a bug up my butt for the past couple of weeks to change the look of the blog but I’ve had no time to sort through the hundreds of templates for one I liked.  I’m really impressed with this one.  It had everything I was looking for.  Now if I can only figure out how to change the font…

And I may as well address the elephant in the room.  Yes, there are ads on the site now.  I’ve been thinking about adding them for quite a few months.  I actually signed up for an AdSense account several months ago, but I just couldn’t get the code to work on the sidebar.  It went all wonky and wasn’t aligned right and I just wasn’t savvy enough with the coding to know what was up.

So anyway, they’re there, but I seriously doubt they’ll add to my bottom line.  Nathan thought it was funny that I put ads up in the first place seeing as I have all of four or five readers maybe.

So I’m afraid Google will not be funding an early retirement.  Damn.  I really didn’t want to go back to work.
