I found Amy Storch’s blog a couple of years ago through a link from someone else’s site. She’s since become hugely popular and now contributes to Alpha Mom, ClubMom, and is the co-creator of MamaPop! Why do I read her? She has an adorable son, a great sense of humor and isn’t afraid to showcase her dorky side on a regular basis.
I think I found this Texas mom through a comment on my blog. She watches an appalling amount of reality TV, but she also makes me laugh so I keep going back
A Moment of Jen Writer Jennifer Weiner of Good In Bed fame has her blog here. She writes a lot about the literary world, but the stuff about her family is priceless.
Dooce If the internet had a rock star, it would be Heather Armstrong. Way back when, she was fired for blogging about her job. Who knew that would pave the way for her to become one of the most popular bloggers out there?
Love My Dox Ginger is a Louisiana mom of one adorable little boy named Jude. She’s a great writer and has openly shared her struggles with postpartum depression since Jude’s birth.
Mommyhood and Life According to Coco Coco writes openly about her experience as a “first mom” after giving her first-born up for adoption. She pours her heart into every entry and is a pleasure to read.
Post Secret Write your deepest, darkest secrets down on a postcard and mail them to Post Secret. You might actually see them posted to the blog. Some are hilarious while others can be sad and disturbing.
Pound Chicago writer Wendy McClure blogs here. You may know her from her book I’m Not the New Me or the wacky captions she added to ancient Weight Watchers recipe cards and published as The Amazing Mackerel Pudding Plan.
Raising Peanuts Former co-worker Donielle left her oh-so-wonderful job at the university to stay home with her Peanut. It’s no wonder, as the kid is too adorable for words. Luckily Donielle is also an ace photographer who skillfully captures every bit of cuteness. She can also fulfill your portrait photography needs at her professional site here. Check it out!
Sleepy New Mommy Meg is my internet friend and the mother of a little girl she calls “Squeaks.” Our daughters were born just a few days apart and we’re finding ourselves going through a lot of the same drama with them right now. She hails from Oklahoma redneck territory, but don’t hold that against her.

I'm Heather. I live in Michigan with my husband and daughter and maintain this little enterprise while working full time and attending grad school part time. Don't ask me how I do it because I really couldn't tell you.
